Review: UberKinky Squeezer Teaser Nipple Clamps
I was kindly sent the Squeezer Teaser Nipple Clamps for review by the lovely folks at UberKinky in exchange for an honest review.
These nipple clamps are of the Japanese clover clamp variety. Made of metal, they also have soft rubber tips and a cord to allow weights or attaching to anything else a sadists mind can think up. The grip, though adjustable, is quite intense but incredibly pleasurable - or at least if you have masochistic tenancies it certainly is.
When I received them, the clamps were in cardboard and plastic packaging, which being completely honest, cheapened the aesthetic. I've included a picture of them in the packaging for comparison. Were I to give a set of these as a gift, I would personally unpackage them and wrap them simply in tissue paper or similar to give a classier look.
Now, once out of the packaging I found these to be great. Of course, they're called nipple clamps but that really doesn't cover all the possibilities a creative sadist could think up - if you can pinch flesh, you can clamp it!
Now, it should be stated these probably aren't for those not keen on a little pain, and they are more intense than some other clamps I've tried. Saying that, if you're a fan of Nipple Play they're a great investment and a true classic to add to any toybox.
So all in all, not great packaging, but look beyond that and you'll find a great bit of kit with real bite!

Review: Kinklab Leather Vampire Gloves
We purchased the Kinklab Leather Vampire Gloves in April 2012, and with it being January 2013 now, I've taken a while to get to reviewing them! This long-overdue post is in part because of some minor issues developing with them, but more because we spend a lot of time at parties showing them to people and finding new converts wherever we take them!
The gloves are made from a soft, thin leather which flexes well with movement, the fingers adorned with prickly metal spikes. At first glance, they could seem like a scary prospect, however they really have a multitude of uses. More on that in a moment.
They're manufactured in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL, however the only UK stockist I know of (and the retailler we purchased the gloves from) SexToys.co.uk offers them in XS, M and XL. We have the XL size, and both Master and I have large hands and find that while they are snug, they do fit. With that in mind, I would caution that if you have significantly larger-than-average hands you may struggle to fit into these.
Used gently, they make for excellent sensation play. Love the feeling of being scratched lightly (or not so lightly) with nails? You'll likely adore these. Nothing creates shivers down the spine like these gloves. If you want a more intense experience, they can provide a rougher scratch or if the user grips their subject while wearing the gloves, they offer a truly stinging sensation. If you're really itching for some more extreme sadomasochistic action, spanking with the Vampire Gloves is a one-of-a-kind experience. Having received such spankings on several occasions, I can say they're high impact and hurt. They will also make you bleed. The subsequent dotty markings you're left with can take up to several weeks to fully disappear (but if you're a hard to mark sub who loves being marked - like me - that can be fantastic!)
Blood is an issue that needs raising with this particular bit of kit. In scratchy play, you run a risk of drawing blood with these, and spanking with them you're almost guaranteed to do so. With that in mind, if you're bothered by blood I'd advise against these gloves (or suggest exercising restraint with pressure in use), and it's worth remembering that blood borne disease is a risk if you opt to use them with multiple partners.
If you play at home you're free to make your own choices about blood and your comfort with it, but do be aware that fetish clubs usually have rules in place, and many of them have a "no blood drawn" policy. If in doubt, I'd advocate checking with the club owners or the Dungeon Master present.
Now, as we've owned them for 9 months at this stage, we've noticed some wear/issues cropping up. Firstly, some of the spikes have bent over in play. This may be attributable to them having been used to administer spankings. Secondly, some of the spikes have retracted into the glove and Master has to push them back through when he puts them on. The picture below should hopefully illustrate my points.
If you look carefully at the bottom of the pictured finger, the set of four spikes has retracted into the glove. Further up, a spike is bent flat.
Currently (and as far back as when we purchased them), the Kinklab Leather Vampire Gloves retail for £29.95 at SexToys.co.uk. Even with the faults we're starting to notice, we still feel this is decent value, as they're one of our favourite items in Master's kit. He really enjoys using them, and they're both adored and feared by me!
If you want your very own set of Vampire Gloves, they're available here for £29.95 (price correct at time of writing)

Review: Jack Boot Print Wooden Spanking Paddle
We'd been eyeing the Jack Boot Print Wooden Spanking Paddle for a while when we saw that Lovehoney had included it in their post-Christmas sale. When we spotted that they also intended to discontinue the paddle (at least at Lovehoney), we had to have it.
Made by Icon Brands under the Raging Stallion
The Jack Boot paddle certainly isn't a beginner friendly bit of kit; measuring just short of 19" and bearing a UK size 12 boot sole in thick rubber (so yes, it does smell of rubber, a little like a shoe shop), and hitting just short of a freight train. But more on that later. The rubber sole is mounted on a fairly standard, if large, wooden paddle (so easily doubles up for standard paddle usage), and as such should be noted, this has pretty much no give.
For the sake of truly understanding what those dimentions will mean in your hand, I took a comparitive picture with a Sky+ remote:
As for your testers, Master and I have been into kink for quite a while, and Master's toy bag is overflowing. As such, we've reached a point where we only really want to add different items to the bag. A standard flogger, cane or paddle doesn't hold much appeal when we already have such a wide variety of toys. This is not your standard paddle. I mentioned the dimensions above, and while it does feel lighter than expected given the sheer size of the monster, it's a paddle I could imagine a smaller Dom struggling to wield with adequate control.
Speaking as the submissive on the receiving end of the Jack Boot paddle, I can safely say in play it truly is like no other. Paddles of different materials always feel different, but the addition of a rubber boot sole with a deep tread, makes for an utterly unique sensation. Part of this may be that my Master is rather sadistic and hits like a truck anyway, but this is by far the most painful paddle I have experienced.
I am generally a fan of thuddy pain, and tolerate stingy pain much less well. My relationship with this paddle is, as such, slightly confused. It does hit much thuddier than other paddles I've known, but on top of that there is a white-hot sting that tears the breath from me.
So far, the hits I've received haven't left a lasting imprint of a boot on my behind, but then I am very hard to mark. As such, I intend to update this review once we've been able to try it on a friend who marks much more easily than I do.
Master really enjoyed using this on me, and as much as it hurts like hell, I enjoyed receiving it. The construction seems fantastic, everything is very secure and nothing seems frayed or poorly attached so I'm fairly confident this will remain part of our kit for many years to come, taking the wind from subs wherever it may strike!
I would recommend the Jack Boot paddle to experienced players who want something new and different to add to their kit, but would advise caution to those who are less experienced. Old hat or fresh meat though, I'd advise this is a one to know your own strength on, get a feel for how it hits, and use accordingly!
It's disappointing to see Lovehoney won't be stocking it anymore, though I can imagine it being intimidating to fetish-newbies, so perhaps that has affected sales. However, a number of other stockists do still offer the Jack Boot such as SexShop365.
Overall, we love this!

Review: Durex Love Box
I bought Waz and I a Durex Love Box each a few weeks ago. Since then, they've become a staple in our bags. We don't use condoms together but do so religiously when sleeping with others outside our relationship, both for STI protection and an extra layer of pregnancy protection.
We're not especially loyal to any one brand of condom, preferring to buy whatever appeals or is on offer at the time - provided it's kite marked of course - so what really attracted us to this product was the tins rather than the included condoms.
The tins themselves come in a variety of colours and styles - eight are offered at Lovehoney, styles are selected at random - which means for us as we have two different tins we know which tin is ours.
The tins are nice and sturdy so far, not showing any signs of damage. A big part of why we bought these was due to the fact that condoms kept in wallets or purses run the risk of damage over any length of time, so to carry some on us the majority of the time without that risk was a real benefit.

The tins come with three durex condoms in them already, and a small informational leaflet which explains more about the love boxes. Once this leaflet is removed, I have found up to five condoms will fit in the box - though this is highly dependent on brand and style as some (for example Skyns) are thicker packets.
The bottom line is that I'd recommend anyone who uses condoms on a regular or semi-regular basis would benefit from the reassurance having your protection protected brings!
The Durex Love Box is available at Lovehoney for £3.49 and comes with three condoms.

Review: Lovehoney Bondage Boutique Wrapped Rattan Cane
We got this cane some time ago, in fact it was actually our first forray into the caning world! We selected the Bondage Boutique Wrapped Rattan Cane as our first cane for a number of reasons.
Firstly, it is an inexpensive item costing £9.99 and as it is from the Bondage Boutique range, every purchase means more stamps to stick on your card - which then becomes redeemable for free spankers (we recently claimed two free spankers of our own through the scheme).
Secondly, as we were (obviously) at the time totally new to caning we wanted something relatively simple, basic and unintimidating. Neither of us really had a basis for knowing what caning was going to feel like and as such, something fairly average seemed logical. We got it in black, though it's also available in pink.
Thirdly, it being a rattan cane wrapped in a "smooth plastic coating", we felt assured it would be fairly study and shouldn't splinter or break - something that has, thus far, held true.
So, in use? I am the submissive in our relationship and while I do admit I like pain, canes scare me a bit! There's a lot of flexibility to the cane, and this allows a great deal of control in the intensity of the strikes. At 27.5 inches in length, it feels long enough without being unwieldy and the 0.25 inch diameter makes it a moderately thick cane (the thinner the cane, the stingier, in general).
It does have a slight bend to it over time, though the extent to which your cane will do so is likely to have a lot to do with how well it is stored - keep it bend for too long and it will begin to retain the shape it's kept in.
We found it to be a great starter cane, but be aware if you're new to caning - in terms of pain and potential "ouch" this is a significant step up from spanking or flogging and with any real force behind it, it will leave red welts. I'd personally recommend a decent warm-up first (spanking, flogging and paddling all help) to allow for the caning to have a touch less shock to it. The only real negative to this cane versus the canes we have subsequently acquired is that this doesn't have any sort of handle, and the ones that do are probably a touch easier to handle, though the lack of one doesn't negatively impact the toy in a significant way.
All in all, a good basic cane I'd recommend - especially to those new to the art of caning. Not too pricey, unintimidating and from a brand I trust.
It's available from Lovehoney for £9.99 with free delivery.

Review: Fetish Fantasy Honeymoon Bondage Kit
This is another review I've been shamefully sitting on for some time now. I'm not usually this useless but with one thing and another, this has taken me forever... and I really hope that the gorgeous guys and girls at SexToysUK can forgive me... *flutters eyelashes*
I was sent this to review a while ago (*blush*) and it was really nice to have a change from vibes! Don't get me wrong, I love what I do and testing dildos, vibes and other toys is a pretty awesome hobby/job I have... but a change is brilliant too, and that's exactly what this provided!
In this kit, you'll find adjustable white wrist and ankle cuffs with tethers, a white blindfold, a pink and black feather tickler, 2 candles and a mini vibrator. As such, I'll take each item in turn, and then look at the kit as a whole...
The wrist and ankle cuffs are probably the most significant piece of kit in the box. Obviously, the thing that is most striking about these is the fact that they're white. Not entirely groundbreaking, but also a noticable departure from the standard bondage fare of black, black and more black, and a change that would likely make them a whole lot less intimidating to the uninitiated. In use, I was impressed by the velcro closures on the tethers, they really didn't give even when I tried really hard to pull against them. With the tether system though, our bed isn't exactly condusive to them, being the divan type. Still, overall, a definite thumbs up for the cuffs.
When I first laid eyes on the blindfold, I was skeptical. It's not the most expensive or thick blindfold, and to top that, it's white... so I really wasn't sure it was going to actually perform its task. I'll admit I was wrong, and that it does a surprisingly good job. Because of the way mine was folded in the box, mine had some pretty noticable creases, that made it look less attractive. They'll come out in time, but initially that does affect the look. The nose area could be a little better shaped, but that's a common flaw with all but the really high end blindfolds, and it's a minimal issue by comparison. Sure there are better blindfolds out there, but this is at least a decent-ish beginner's one.
In stark contrast to the vast amounts of white in this kit, sits the pink and black feather tickler that's included. The handle is a thin, plastic stick so it's possibly not going to be the sturdiest creation ever, but the feathers do feel wonderfully soft and is probably best (in my opinion) paired with the blindfold to allow for sensation play.
The candles are fairly standard, the normal white stick type many households keep in stock for emergencies. As such though, they're inconspicuous and will likely fit most holders. I'm not certain why they're in this kit though; in that as it's marketted towards comparitive beginners with bondage - for whom I'd think wax play might be pushing boundaries a little? If not, they could make for a handy way to set the scene and get the atmosphere right. I did check them out and they seem to burn pretty cleanly and the temperature of the wax is pretty average too.
Coming across the mini vibrator, I found it's the pocket rocket type, and comes with 4 interchangable caps (one domed; one with flat, circular bumps; one with taller, slightly spikier nobs and a fourth with what I can only describe as rounded off spikes). The vibe without any caps added has 3 metal nubs on the top, which I find to be a little rough to want to use on its own. The vibe is quiet, which is a plus point, and only needs a single AA battery, but largely, I didn't find it particularly impressive. With either of the first two caps on, (especially the dome) it feels like a lot of the vibration is lost, and travels up toward the hand rather than the clit... and the latter two caps feel downright spikey. I don't want anything that rough buzzing there. A bit of a let down, unfortunately.
Lastly, not mentioned on the box or the SexToysUK site, I also found a little bag containing twist-open samplers of PipedreamProducts' Toy Cleaner, "Moist" Lube and Peaches and Cream "Liquid Love". The Latter is a little runnier than most lickables are but does taste very peachy, if a little too sweet. The lube has a decent consitency, and isn't sticky. These three samples make for a nice, unexpected inclusion. It's just a little annoying that you can't reseal them.
All things considered, I'd say that the Fetish Fantasy Honeymoon Bondage Kit makes for a good intro set, but may be a little basic for anyone who's a bit more advanced. I wasn't a fan of the vibrator, but the hard wearing restraints make up for it.
It's available now at SexToysUK.

Review: Cal Exotics Coture Collection Amante Remote Egg.
I was sent the Amante remote egg by Cal Exotics to review a little while ago and have been hopelessly tardy in getting the review up! Hell, I've taken forever to try it full stop, due to life stuff getting in the way (which pretty much sucks)...
This egg is flagged on the Cal Exotics site as "coming soon", and likely for that reason, I can't find it on any of the stores I usually shop at.
At first glance, the box is decent. It's a whole lot sturdier than the Cal Exotics boxes used to be, which is great. It makes no bones about what it contains, but it also isn't tacky or cliched either, so I'm happy with that.
Hailling from the recently developed higher end Couture Collection line, what you get with this toy is a two piece set, consisting of an egg made of silicone with a stretchy cord, and a matching plastic remote which works up to 5 meters away. The egg needs two N batteries and the remote, a single 12v battery - both of which are comparitively rare and therefore a little more expensive than, say, standard AA/AAA batteries. However, California Exotics have provided the first set, so hopefully it'll be a while before I need to worry about sourcing new ones.
I found the egg to be really comfortable when inserted, and while I'd certainly be a lot more turned on than usual, I could easily go about every day activities with the Amante in. Turning the egg on (via the remote), alllows you to cycle through 7 speeds and patterns of vibration, and all are fairly quiet. I know of quieter vibes, but only bullets. Saying that, when it's inside, given a normal level of day-to-day background noise, I don't think it'd be noticed.
The speeds felt different enough without feeling wildly opposed, and they definitely got me off. I think where this vibe would excel would be in a public play setting or generally in partnered play. It would definitely be hot to hand over the remote to a significant other and allow them to give you a thrill while at the bar or in the cinema, and is a great way to enjoy the feeling of public play without running the risk of being arrested!
I can't help but also set my mind to wondering about the toy's applications in a D/s setting - if you enjoy that kind of dynamic, a Dominant playmate or partner holding the remote could get a lot of fun out of making their sub squirm in awkward settings...?
Anyway, all in all, not a toy I plan to use a lot, but one that handles the right situation really, really well. Not to mention being the most comfortable and pleasurable of the remote eggs I've tried.

Review: Pin Ups (Glitter Bullet + Bombshell Balm Set)
The gorgeous guys and girls at LoveHoney sent me one of these babies to try out, so a huge thanks to them... a really huge thanks. You'll see why soon!
The most striking thing, to me, when I first received the Pin Ups Bullet Balm combo was the packaging. I can honestly say I have never seen better, classier or more collectable sex toy than this one.
The tin, only a little bigger than a common cigarette tin, features one of three pinups, and reveals nothing of the contents. (Mine was the silver bullet with the blonde bombshell on the tin) Were it to tumble from a handbag, it could easily be mistaken for makeup or perhaps a cute tin being used to hold feminine products or hair accessories. Either way, no one would ever guess it housed your bullet vibe!
Popping the lid off reveals a black solid foam wedge (absolutely no rattling, then!) holding the Bombshell Balm, the glitter bullet, and an extra battery (thumbs up to that!)
Having checked out the balm, it seems that the most significant ingredients come from mint and menthol - not strong enough to make you smell like a cough sweet, but enough to provide one hell of a tingle. Having done a quick taste test, I can also confirm that it has a pleasant, minty flavour!
I must admit that when I first read that it was a glitter bullet, I expected a sort of glitter overlay, and for it to be quite 'in your face'... The reality is far from it. The glitter effect is provided by the texture the bullet has, more like tiny water droplets on the surface. The end result is classier and more unusual than I'd imagined. Size wise, it's roughly the same as the Tracey Cox SuperSex bullet, and also has the broad, flat tip, rather than the point you'd find on, say, the Ammunition RO-80mm Bullet.
After taking out the paper disk in the bullet (for protection against in-transit buzzies), I cycled through the 3 speeds. The first is a low, heavy sort of buzz, and the highest is a much more high pitched intense buzz, with the middle setting somewhere in between. This may also be the quietest bullet I've tried yet.
Now, putting the two together in use... I dabbed a little of the balm on my clit (advice: less is more. I put a tiny bit on, then a tiny bit more and that was enough - this stuff is VERY tingly!) and watched a little porn as I felt a growing cool tingle spread. Before long, I had to grab the bullet!
I found that for me it worked really well to warm up on the lowest setting, switching up the 'gears' as I approached orgasm... which, boy did I... The orgasm this little baby was easily one of the best I've had in a very long time!
It's waterproof, so cleaning was a doddle, and it's going to be really easy to store as it has such a beautiful case... not that it's going to be put away very often!
Ultimately, I love this bit of kit, and it's easily one of the best things I've tried in a long time. I'd recommend the bullet alone, as between the speeds and the texture it's fabulous. The balm works brilliantly, smells great and tastes good too - what more could anyone want?! On top of all that, it's a glamourous little number, and just purrfect!

Want it? (And I wouldn't blame you!) - get it at LoveHoney now!

Review: Ann Summers Rampant Rabbit G-Pulse Remote
I'm feeling guilty today! I've had this toy, the Ann Summers Rampant Rabbit G-Pulse Remote (try saying that ten times fast!) for so long! Unfortunately, between house moves, 'girly' problems and a whole bunch of other junk, I never did get round to it.
Last week I reviewed the ordinary G-Pulse, that is to say the one without a remote that came out a while before this one. The upshot of that review was that while the shaft was a touch thicker than I might have liked, the bunny ears rocked, and the vibration patterns were excellent.
So what has changed between the old G-Pulse and the new?
Well, it's marginally shorter and the tiniest fraction girthier, but aside from that aesthetically very similar... Other than the extra bit of kit nestled next to it in the box, of course! It still runs on AAA batteries, though with the remote needing two of it's own, you'll need to have a total of six in for this baby!
The name might have been a bit of a giveaway but incase it wasn't, I can tell you that the big difference is the inclusion of the new remote control. Now, I'll admit that when I first saw it, I did wonder if it might just be a little bit faddy... But after having a go, and also having had time to have a bit of a think about the applications, I'm loving the idea.
The most obvious use, of course, is to replace the tv remote in you're other half's hand with this! Escpecially for guys, gadgets and things that can be remote-operated never lose their appeal; so if your guy (if appropriate ;) ) has been reluctant to get into toys, this could be just the ticket to win him over!
Even for the single girl, or the solo player, it does offer benefit though; I found that the difference in use was much more than I'd expected - it made play much more fun as I didn't have to try to think and remember which button was what on the rabbit, I could just hold the remote and press away as I needed to!
This rabbit could even be utilised for kinky dominance and submission play if you fancy spicing it up, or are an old hand at the kink game - think of the uses of a toy that can be operated and switched off at range?
Much like it's non remote counterpart, this bunny boasts independent control of the shaft and rabbit vibrations, as well as a whole host of speeds and pulses for both. Again, in use I might have liked the shaft to have been a little slimmer as for me, I need a slim shaft with intense angles to hit my g-spot, but for many others a thicker shaft works - so it's really all about what works for you.
The bunny ears are still divine and the multiple bullets that fire up the vibrations mean that the buzz still really carries through. The patterns of vibration and pulse on the G-Pulse toys is different to those found on most others too, with the build-and-relax style, which really worked on me.
All in all, I do think the remote adds a new dimention to this toy, whether with a partner or on your own.
Want to get one for yourself? It's available now at Ann Summers!

Review: Ann Summers "Passion" Massage Lotion
We set out, and figured Ann Summers was probably the most logical place to check out on our little mission, so headed to the high street. In Ann Summers, we found a range of oils. After sniffing the Lust and Love oils, and finding them not to our taste, we picked up the tester bottle of Passion oil, and immediately knew that was the one for us.
Having bought it (£8 for a 150ml bottle), we headed home. A closer look at the gorgeous, retro-styled label found that it claimed to be "lickable". Now, I am sure a great deal of attention was paid to ensuring that all the ingredients of this lotion were totally consumption-safe, but for the sake of your taste buds, I would strongly advise against it. It might smell divine, and while some of the notes from the fragrance do make it through in taste, there is an overwhelming bitter note that just makes the licker gag. (If that licker is me, anyway...)
The things we loved about it, however, way outnumber the sour taste. It's not especially sticky once it's been rubbed in, so going to sleep without showering it off wasn't unpleasant. As mentioned before, the smell is gorgeous, really tropical and refreshing, and a smell I'm happy to have dominate our boudoir! Lastly, the warming effect is nice when it's being used for massage to help sore bodies, as it seems to stimulate in a lot of the same ways the massage itself does.
All in all, a massage oil we turn to time and time again, and will keep buying.

Review: California Exotics Masseur Clitoral Vibrator
California Exotics have been working for some time on their Couture Collection and have added many more products to the line recently. One of which is the "Masseur", a clitoral massager-style vibe which picks up where the likes of the Fun Factory LayaSPOT left off.
Available in both metallic pink and a sleek black shade, the Masseur is five inches in length, and a little under two inches wide, with graduated curves designed to hug the female form in all the right places.
Coming in completely cringe-free packaging, all it takes to get going are two triple A batteries and some 'alone time'. (If you like... the latter is really up to you!)
In use, the Masseur is operated via two buttons; one being the on/off and on to adjust the setting - of which there are seven in all. So many vibes I have used in the past would have been significantly improved by the addition of an on/off switch, rather than having to cycle through many options to get to switch off! The buttons are easy to access, though the natural flow of the toy means where I find I would naturally hold it isn't ideal for the buttons, so I have to make sure I keep my fingers off them!
(This may just be an issue for me and for similarly big-handed folk!)
The contures of the toy do mean, however, that it snuggles nicely in towards my clit, so I don't seem to have to do too much work to get it to find the right angle.
The big flaw in the Masseur though, is the vibrations. I don't know whether it's an issue within the materials (abs plastic with silicone, so fairly standard?) or the motor strength, but I found the vibrations didn't carry enough for me. It's not so much the "I need a stronger buzz" issue, more that the vibrations were... there. They just didn't seem to be travelling per se.
Being waterproof, it's a doddle to clean and the box is designed in such a way it makes a great little storage box for the toy.
Personally, my verdict is that the Masseur makes for a great massager style vibe if you like unfocussed, spread out vibrations. If a directed 'buzz' is more your thing, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
The Masseur isn't on any of the toy sites I know and trust yet, but you can explore the Cal Exotics range at LoveHoney (UK) or Eden Fantasys (US), or explore the Cal Exotics site!NK x

Review: Ann Summers Rampant Rabbit Thruster Deluxe

The Ann Summers
Rampant Rabbit Thruster Deluxe
is one of the latest developments in what is easily their best known range of toys. Once given notoriety by Sex and the City in "that" episode where Charlotte refuses to leave her apartment, women both across the pond in the States and right here in good old Blighty were clamouring for their own buzzing bunny.
Rightly so, of course, as many women have found them to be the holy grail of vibrators. With a shaft that does things (virtually) no penis can do, and those sensationally stimulating ears ready to buzz you straight to heaven, it's no wonder they've maintained their place at the top of the toy tree.
The Rampant Rabbit Thruster Deluxe
promises to take everything the Rampant Rabbit has created and up the ante, adding a thrusting shaft - finally tackling what other penetrative vibes could never do (short of a sybian!) - actually thrust into you.
I was lucky enough to get my mitts on one of these little beauties, and have spent a few sessions now thoroughly testing (for your benefit of course, it's a hard life!) what this bunny can really do.
When you get the Thruster, you need 3 AAs to get it going, and some lube would be an idea unless you tend to take slightly girthier toys well. It's not a monster, but it does have a respectable girth and many ladies will need a little help to lube up. The controls have been kept uber simple - ideal for those moments when you're too lost to know what the hell you need to press. 4 buttons - an up and a down for both the thrusting shaft and the buzzing clitoral stimulator. Set the speeds, and away you go!
In use, the thrusting really blew me away. In all honesty I'd expected it to slow down or even stop under the pressure (I know I tend to "clamp down" a little when I get into it!) but it really didn't! The concertina'd bit is where all the action springs from, and this allows loads of variation depending on how you like to play. The only real limitation is your imagination!
This is one vibe you actually can just hold there and it does the rest of the work. However, I'd recommend trying other positions too, such as straddling the toy or holding it so the thrusts dip in and out, as this has a better chance of stimulating the g-spot.
The rabbit ears buzz on three speed settings; low-med-high, so no pulses or gradient settings, but in all honesty I didn't feel it needed it. There's already enough going on with the thrusting and buzzing.
In a nutshell, I had a great time wiht the Thruster. It's no wonder the This Morning panel gave it 10/10! I'd say it's a great option for single girls too, who may be missing couple-sex, or even for those in relationships as the possibilities (giving head while being fucked by a vibe? I think so!) are endless.
If you've been wavering, stop. Just go and try it already.

Review: Ophoria Bliss No. 8 Vibrator
First of all, the gorgeous folks over at Sex Toys Eden sent me this Ophoria vibe to review, so do go check them out!As you can see, Ophoria products are the very definition of 'class' within their sleek packaging; no half naked women, oiled men or cartoon characters here! The Bliss No. 8 is completely silicone, so phthalate free and non-irritating. Which is always good! In other spec-based info, it's also splash proof, takes 2 AA batteries, and is operated by a single button on it's base.
Like many vibes these days, it has a variety of vibration settings - described as modes 1, 2 & 3 (I'd call them low-med-high) plus 2 pulse modes, one referred to as "climax" (building up, then back to the start) and one "pulsing" (more of an on- off, on- off pulse). It's as quiet as it makes out, too. The lower settings are comparible to other vibes marketed as near-silent, and the higher ones are easily masked by a little noise, music or similar.
In use, what I really enjoyed about this vibe was the way that the vibrations carried right the way through the toy, to the tip. Unusually for a shaft-type vibrator, I found myself using it on
However, I didn't find that I enjoyed the insertion of the Bliss all that much by comparison. Personally, the ridges made what is a fairly girthy toy, a little too challenging. The girth alone wasn't too much of an issue, but adding the density of the silicone, I found it just a little too rough for my liking.
That's not to say other's won't find those same ridges to be deliciously orgasmic - hell, we'reall built differently! For me though, I'll be using other toys for penetration and keeping this baby to bring me back to bliss through my little grinding technique ;) Available at Sex Toys Eden for £47.99

Review: Petite Couture – Patina Vibrator
California Exotics are a hugely well known brand, with a history spanning over 15 years, and are truly known for creating up to date, popular toys that really deliver. The Couture Collection is a recent development, still being extended. The high quality toys look easily comparable to those fetching a far more substantial price tag, and you get the joy of dealing with sumptuous feeling materials, variable vibration, and completely cringe-free packaging! Hurrah!
The Patina is a rabbit style vibrator, but in a creamy, pure shade of white as opposed to the standard-issue pink, which makes for a great change. The main body of the vibe is made out of silicone (the finest, medical grade silicone, from Japan, apparently), and has a silky smooth texture and a firmness that’s just right – not too soft but not too rigidly unforgiving either.

Once you’ve popped three AAA batteries in, you’re good to go. There’s an on/off switch (handy if you need to quickly turn it off!) and two extra buttons, one to cycle through the 7 vibration settings (including a variety of pulses and speeds) and one for the 3 speeds of the all-important rotation that made the rabbit vibe so well known! The controller-end of the vibe is in a classy silver tone; all adding to a really high-end feel to this vibe! The packaging is every bit as classy as the toy itself, as shown in the pictures, and this vibe is waterproof too!
All in all, a great gift so far – but how does it perform? My first thoughts on this were good – the shape of the toy is great… it doesn’t hit my g-spot as well as the iTap G-spot vibe did, but it still feels damn good. The silicone feels great in use, and the rabbit ears are long enough to reach everywhere they should!
The vibration on the lowest setting is hard to hear over a running computer, and while louder on the higher settings, still compares very favourably to other quiet vibrators on the market. The thing that normally makes rabbits louder than their counterparts, however, is the noise from the shaft rotation. In the case of the Patina, the rotation is louder than the vibration, but considerably less than many other rabbit vibes!
I found that in use, the vibration levels are great for me, and carry brilliantly though the silicone. I seem to get on best with the rotation on its “medium” setting of the three speeds, as the lower setting seems hard to notice, and the highest seems to rotate my arm more than the toy… But that may have a lot to do with how I “grip” toys internally? I’m not sure. All things considered, I really like this toy, and feel it has such aesthetic appeal that it would make a great gift for someone special ;)There are certainly more "all singing all dancing" rabbits around, but as a good, multispeed rabbit with what is simply a great tactile feel, you can't go far wrong with the Patina! See what Cal Exotics have to say about the Patina here. (Under "Couture Collection") No UK stockists found yet for this vibe, but browse LoveHoney's Couture Collection range here. Review: Rocks Off Ass Berries - Blackberry
First off, big thanks go to the gorgeous guys and girls at Adult Pleazurezone who sent me this for review! The Rocks Off brand has been pretty well known for quite some time now, even more so after they launched the Rock Chick. All their toys use the legendary RO-80mm Bullet that they're so well known for, which on it's own is a fantastic bullet. As long-time readers of Nymphetamine Kiss will know, I'm quite a fan of anal play. So, when I got the chance to review the Rocks-Off Blackberry from the Assberries range, I jumped at it!

The Blackberry is the larger toy in the Assberries, but still doesn't look intimidating to the eye. It's essentially one of the afforementioned RO-80mm bullets in a butt plug shaped sleeve, made of Rocks-Off's own "IntraMed material" - and while I'm not entirely sure what goes into that, Rocks-Off do assure it's completely hypo-allergenic, and of course it's free of phthalates and is latex-free.
Now, on to how it performs! I was impressed with how the vibrations carried through the toy, though I wasn't all that surprised given the quality of the bullet [which comes with batteries, by the way!] and the material used for the sleeve. There is a faint seam running across the toy, but it really isn't noticable and it doesn't look like it's going to cause any problems later, so I'm fine with that. The bullet is only one speed, but the vibrations it produces are a lot of fun, so I didn't find myself wishing for more variability.
The texture is unusual, but hasn't presented any problems for cleaning. Size wise, it does present something of a challenge for me - it's deceptively small to the eye... but bigger to the ass! The great thing about this is that it'd present a challenge for comparitive anal newbies, but should still hold some satisfaction for the more practiced anal enthusiast.
I was really impressed by the gradient at the neck of the plug too, as this meant there really was no issue of it slipping out - an issue I've experienced previously. Used together with a high-quality anal lube, this makes for great fun. I'd advise not using silicone lube as I suspect the sleeve may be silicone, as I have seen it referred to as such before.
All in all, I was impressed by this and it'll certainly be incorporated into mine and my partners play in the future! Also, the wonderful people at Adult Pleasurezone have given me an exclusive 10% discount voucher for my readers! Enter the code LIFIRE at the checkout! cheap sex toys available @ Adult Pleasurezone!
