Review: Cal Exotics "Shane's World" Sorority Party Vibe - Nooner

Cal Exotics Shane's World Nooner Vibe
Cal Exotics sent me this for review this month, and I have to admit a little cringe did sneak onto my face when I first set eyes on the packaging. The words "sorority party vibe" just jumped out at me - and not in a good way.

You may think "well, what's the matter, it's the toy that's important, right?", and I agree it is the most important aspect of the product, but I really feel that poor packaging lets a toy down, it can make all the difference to whether or not you'd give the toy as a gift, and I'd even argue that really tacky packaging (like this) does a lot to keep sex toys in the realm of dirty, seedy things. Bad! ><

Onto the toy though, and I was pleased to see it only needs a single AA battery, which was really easy to fit - twist off the cap, pop the battery in, and replace the cap. The controls are as simple, as the multi-speed vibe works off a twist mechanism - the purple pointer bit you see in the picture is your speed selector/on-off switch.

The speed levels are noticably different - something I've found not to always be the case with twist cap vibrators, and go from a low, rumbly feeling buzz to a much higher pitched, bullet like feel. The great news is that the vibes do carry to the end of the toy, as I found when using this for clit stimulation. The handy thing about it not being a bullet (other than not needing fiddly batteries) is that you don't get the vibrations wizzing up into your hand during use (something that bugs me when using many bullets).

Cal Exotics Shanes World Nooner Vibe
Like much of the current Cal Exotics range, it has a silky "velvet cote" finish, which feels great. It boasts being waterproof, something that I haven't actually tried myself, so can't comment on.I was pleased to see though, that this is a seamless vibe, making it smooth all over. I was sent the purple one, but the vibe also comes in pink (of course) and a bright, lime green (er, right).

The biggest bugbear I had with this vibe during use was the fact that I found myself knocking the twist control, just through the way I was holding it, meaning it kept dropping to a lower setting, which was kinda offputting! I'm not generally very tollerant of vibrators I have to consciously think about how to hold the whole way through as really, I don't feel like that's what self pleasure should be about.

It was disappointing to have those issues with the twist cap, because ignoring that, the vibe itself is enjoyable - the vibration settings offer something for almost everyone, and the vibes carry really well into the clit. Used for penetration, I'd suggest it for days when you don't want a challenge, or perhaps for beginners or those using with wary partners - it's not in the least bit intimidating (being 4.75" insertable).

All in all, a vibe that is fundamentally enjoyable, but with a flaw. And horrid packaging. Still a good little intro vibe, and cheap and easy to run.

Review: Ophoria Bliss No. 8 Vibrator

First of all, the gorgeous folks over at Sex Toys Eden sent me this Ophoria vibe to review, so do go check them out!

As you can see, Ophoria products are the very definition of 'class' within their sleek packaging; no half naked women, oiled men or cartoon characters here! The Bliss No. 8 is completely silicone, so phthalate free and non-irritating. Which is always good! In other spec-based info, it's also splash proof, takes 2 AA batteries, and is operated by a single button on it's base.

Like many vibes these days, it has a variety of vibration settings - described as modes 1, 2 & 3 (I'd call them low-med-high) plus 2 pulse modes, one referred to as "climax" (building up, then back to the start) and one "pulsing" (more of an on- off, on- off pulse). It's as quiet as it makes out, too. The lower settings are comparible to other vibes marketed as near-silent, and the higher ones are easily masked by a little noise, music or similar.

In use, what I really enjoyed about this vibe was the way that the vibrations carried right the way through the toy, to the tip. Unusually for a shaft-type vibrator, I found myself using it on my clit where I found the vibrations to be really intense on the higher settings. The ridges meant that rubbing the length of the shaft along myself, almost grinding against it, was a lot of fun.

However, I didn't find that I enjoyed the insertion of the Bliss all that much by comparison. Personally, the ridges made what is a fairly girthy toy, a little too challenging. The girth alone wasn't too much of an issue, but adding the density of the silicone, I found it just a little too rough for my liking.

That's not to say other's won't find those same ridges to be deliciously orgasmic - hell, we'reall built differently! For me though, I'll be using other toys for penetration and keeping this baby to bring me back to bliss through my little grinding technique ;) Available at Sex Toys Eden for £47.99

Bargains Galore at Springtime!

I don't do that many of this sort of post these days, but I really felt this deserved some attention! LoveHoney are running a bargain week! I always love these, normally - as this time - the level is set at a tenner a toy, and some of the greatest little pleasure-givers are cherry picked from the LH vaults for some seriously bargainous swag. From the ranks of these bargains, I've selected the top toys I'd recommend you nab while they'll still leave you with plenty of change in your (electronic) pocket! First up, the Evolved Fleur De Lis Bliss Waterproof. I have, and love, the Evolved Waterproof Amore True Love Edition - review here - so I couldn't resist treating myself to another evolved toy! As I mention in the previous review, one of the fantastic things about Evolved toys is how gorgeous their packaging is - as you can see from the picture! There are a range of Evolved toys down to a tenner this week, so do check them out while you can still grab them at such a fantastic rate! Next up, the iTap Gspot vibe! Now, it really wasn't so long ago I reviewed this baby, and you may remember how much I raved about it. If you don't, go. read. now! I was lucky enough to be sent one of these little wonders by Cal Exotics, and really loved it. I've been hunting for a good gspot vibe that works well for me for a long time, with the rock chick decidedly not rocking my world, and countless other toys being fun but not really finding that magic spot, I was starting to give up hope and presume my gspot had enrolled in some kind of witness protection scheme... As it turned out - and was perfectly proven by this vibe, gspot joy is all about the angle. It's my presumption that this is why gspot toys seem to be love or hate entities, like the rock chick for example. It all comes down to our own angles! But if, like me, you've tried a few gspot toys and not made much progress... Try this! Last up, I wanted to mention the Mounty Realistic vibe. I don't own this toy, but I do own it's slightly older brother, which is a very similar toy in purple, though it does has less detail and is generally smoother. I mention these toys though, because I've read so many reviews of suction cup dildos and vibrators where the reviewers were disappointed that the toy had a really poor suction cup - which is often the whole reason they'd bought that particular toy. The appeal is definately there - especially for those of us who enjoy being taken from behind, or being on top - the opportunity to be able to replicate those delicious sensations seems to be offered - but with a poor suction cup, it's never going to work. I can't be certain about this toy, but it's purple older brother worked like a dream for me - with a good strong suction cup that's enabled it to travel around desks, laminate flooring, tiles... you get the picture! Anyway, happy sale shopping in this bargain week!

Sex on the High Street?

Over the Christmas holidays, I returned home to my parents house. My boyfriend stayed with his parents, so we could each spend some time with our respective families, though we did try to see each other whenever we could [fortunately for us, that was a decent amount!]. Now, when I packed for home, I think I was a little optimistic. One toy. Granted, it was my favourite [and still is one of my favourites], but soon I realised this had been a little... short sighted, perhaps. I could have ordered online, however sometimes I get a hankering for a visit to a real life shop - one with shelves of things that go buzz, rows of phallic delights, and naughtiness galore. In this instance, I also figured I'd get something a little quicker if I hopped on a bus, and bought something in person. Now, I am intentionally vague about where I live, but will disclose it is somewhere in the north east of England. Between that particular mission for sexual relief and a couple of extra visits since I returned to University, I have recently visited four sex shops, three of which being branches of Ann Summers stores.
Visit #1: Ann Summers Newcastle. The store had been refurbished not long before my visit, and while the shop did indeed look refreshed and updated, the layout was all wrong. Having subsequently passed the store, I believe this has been altered to a more appropriate layout. I say the layout was wrong, as the normally-partitioned section of the store, containing all the toys, was in the main of the shop. Now, seeing as this is a store with an open-door policy [so it'd seem], and no visible age warnings on said doors, I feel this is inappropriate. Even worse, in my opinion, some parents had their children with them instore. Now, I have long been a little uncomfortable at the sight of little ones in sex toy shops, but when they're of an age that it means nothing to them that's one thing - the children in question were 7-10 year olds. A couple of girls, probably aged about 8, stood uncomfortably, clearly unsure where to look or stand. Another pair of boys giggled at what surrounded them. Sex toys were not adults-only pleasure givers that day, rather they seemed, in that moment, to exist for no reason other than to titilate poorly minded young boys. Needless to say, I left. I am not suggesting that Ann Summers as a company were to blame for the fact some parents considered their shop an appropriate festive-break day trip for their little ones, however I would think better store layout would have helped. I would also have thought it wasn't unreasonable to expect the sales assistants to have a polite word with the childrens' parents or guardians to remind them of the adult nature of the chain? Visit #2: Ann Summers Metro Centre Now, clearly a glutton for punishment and still in need of a new toy, I boarded another bus to take the short journey to the Metro Centre, Europe's largest shopping mall. I was comparitively far more impressed with the Metro Centre branch. There was a small child [toddler age] who had discovered dildos and vibrators looked a lot like small person toys. Still though, the inapropriate child ratio was lower. I managed to mooch through the stock and noticed a Serena vibe [review sometime soon... ish!], and seeing as it seems to have been discontinued in a few places, and was reduced in Ann Summers on the day, I thought it seemed wise to go for it. At the till I encountered my major gripe with Ann Summers Metro Centre: Misinformation. Apparently any soap or cleanser other than their buzz fresh wipes will, in fact, damage the toy. I know this to be untrue. Still, for the sake of arguement and due to my own lingering professional nature from back in the day when I held a position as a S.A. myself, I didn't point this out in front of the other customers. I'm decent, y'see?! Visit #3: Ann Summers Sunderland A little later, and on a different day to the other two visits, my trip to the Sunderland branch of Ann Summers was a comparitive breath of fresh air. Sales assistants who know when to let the customer browse, and when to offer assistance. An appropriately laid-out store. A generally good shopping experience. Hurrah, girls of Sunderland Ann Summers; this sexblogger salutes you! Now, on to: Visit #4: Nice 'n' Naughty Newcastle
I hadn't been aware of this store's existence until quite recently. Nice 'n' Naughty added me on twitter. Having had a peek at their site, I noticed they listed some real-world stores. "Ooh, one in Newcastle?" I thought. I couldn't resist a visit, and once I'd worked out where in the city they were based [in the gay scene] I went for a look. The door displayed a sign warning of adult content beyond, and rightly so in my opinion. Nice 'n' Naughty differs from it's high street competitor as they are a licensed sex shop, stocking many more toys, more fetish gear, not to mention a hefty collection of R18 porn. The staff were having a chat with another customer as I entered and began to browse, the atmosphere seemed lively and friendly. While the store does feel [understandably] gay orientated in places, it's certainly not discriminatory or "only" for any particular section of the sex-toy buying public; indeed Nice 'n' Naughty are very clear that they welcome all walks of life and sexualities - a move that I believe makes them all the more fantastic. The actual toy stock was varied, with more anal toys [yay] and fetish [also yay!] than a lot of more 'mainstreamed' shops offer. I eventually settled on picking up an extra Valentines Day present for my Mr, a particularly beautiful black tailed flogger with a metal handle. A couple of chats later, and I left, a very satisfied new customer, and strode through the city streets of Newcastle, black bag in hand. All in all, I'd definately recommend visiting a Nice 'n' Naughty near you if you're lucky enough to live nearby; for they are indeed very nice, and oh so naughty!

Review: Cal Exotics C-Teaser.

Okay, so as an aside I debated briefly with myself whether to post this as 'C-Teaser' or 'Clit-Teaser' - as Cal Exotics and certain retailers seem to differ. That and the fact I feel C-Teaser sounds a little more coy than I'd like. Still, I went for what the packaging states!

On to more interesting things! I'd like to quickly thank Cal Exotics for having me on board as a Sexpert with them, and for providing this toy to test.
This was actually my December review toy, so if you thought this seemed overdue, you were right. I keep having fights with couriers to actually get my pretty buzzies delivered. I'm currently repeating the process for January's toy! Upon first glance at the packaging, I was expecting this to be a more 'hollowed-out' shape than it is. The scoop shape which is designed to fit the female contour is actually quite a thick bit of pink, translucent, jelly rubber [apparently, it's TPR or 'skin safe rubber', regardless, it's phthalate free, which is the significant bit!].

I have to admit, I do feel the packaging could be improved, seeing as it goes for the 'busty blonde' route, however on the bright side, she's not in a metallic bikini, so it could be worse, I guess.
Saying all that though, we know better than to judge a book by it's cover, or indeed a sex toy by it's box, surely?

This picture shows the design a little better - the contoured jelly houses the vibe, which is somewhere between a large bullet and a smallish egg. It takes a nice, easy to find pair of AAs and is wired to the seperate control unit as you can see. One thing I was really pleased about was the fact Cal Exotics included an OFF switch! This may seem obvious I know, but so many manufacturers make it so the user has to cycle through all the options before finally reaching off!

I found the jelly teaser nestled quite well, with the form being a reasonably good shape. The stregth of vibration is about average, with 10 settings, ranging from really quite low to intense. I found that while it was enjoyable, and the shape made for a different experience to most clit vibes, it couldn't get me off on it's own. In that respect, I'd say the name is an excellent representation of what the toy does well; it's an enjoyable warm-up toy, and it certainly did that for me.

The main let down for this toy, in my opinion, is that the jelly doesn't quite conduct the vibrations as well as it feels it should. Perhaps it's just a touch too dense? Either way, I'd be curious to test a silicone re-make of this toy.

All in all - a nice addition to the collection, but a toy best used for a teasing warm up rather than the 'main event'. For full product info, go to the Cal Exotics website Available to buy @ LoveHoney [£22.99 - price correct @ time of writing]

Review: California Exotics - iTap "G" Vibe

The uber-observant types out there may have noticed a rather pink box that appeared to the right recently; yes, the gorgeous guys & girls at CalExotics added me to their ever growing band of Sexperts! Yesterday I got my first toy from them to review, and I was pretty pleased to have been sent the iTap™ "G" Vibe (in white).

I'd had my eye on the iTap range for a little while; the standout feature (as may be given away by the name) is the way in which they're operated - there are no buttons on this baby! No dials or rocker switches, or anything similar.

The base is touch sensitive, so you just "tap" and go, so to speak! I liked this idea when I first heard about it, as in the heat of the moment a lot of buttons can be fiddly, and I don't have much luck with dials to be honest. The iTap range has other styles of vibe in it, such as eggs, wands and bullets (Click to see the entire iTap range) but in all honesty, I was glad to get the G vibe. I'm on a bit of an ongoing quest to find the perfect G spot vibe and I'm always up for trying another one!

When I first took it out of the box, I noticed the angle the G spot curve is at feels a lot more dramatic than many others, which I took to be a positive thing, I've not had much success with some other 'gspot' toys so I don't think the 'softly softly' approach works with me! The vibe itself feels velvety soft, thanks apparently to CalExotics "Velvet Cote" er... coating! Anyway, it feels really silky, just gorgeous. It's average length at 6" and fairly slim at 1", which is a reasonable size given that it feels more due to the curvature. Cycling through the options, I found 5 settings that can be ran through, though I must admit I spent more time on the first, lowest setting, than any other.

On the lowest setting it's fairly quiet, but as it gets to the higher setting or pulsing/escalating settings it's more noticable. I'd say the volume's about average though, and nothing a TV/radio couldn't drown out - but perhaps not one for times when you need to be very discrete. Given that though, it probably wouldn't matter if it was the quietest vibe in the world, I still wouldn't use this if I had to be very quiet... I don't think I could keep quiet if I tried!

My initial thoughts on the angle of the head proved fairly accurate - that feels divine rubbing against the gspot, and I really noticed the difference the coating made. Considering it only takes 2 AA batteries, it really packs a punch! Like I said, I spent a great deal of time on the mildest setting, and found that plenty strong enough. It has a great deal of versatility too, I used it for clit stimulation and found it worked brilliantly for that too.

My only major gripe with the iTap "G" Vibe is that in order to turn it off, you have to cycle through all the 5 settings. Not so bad if you're on the last, or second-to-last one, but if you've been hovering around the first one, that takes some tapping! Another small potential issue I considered was the probability of accidentally 'tapping' to the next setting when you didn't mean to, as the touch sensitive pad on the base is quite sensitive (about as sensitive as my phone's touch screen, if that contextualises what I mean?) - however I think both these issues are a small trade off for doing away with dials and buttons, and for gaining such simplicity.

  • Excellent G-Spot stimulation from the angled head
  • Velvety-soft feel
  • Runs on widely available AAs
  • Good strong vibrations
  • Much less fiddly than other vibes; touch sensitive base

  • Having to cycle through all settings to switch off
  • Potential to slip and skip through settings
The issues are small enough to easily overlooked, and the returns ROCK. Easily the best G-Spot vibe I've enjoyed, and one I will be using time and time again. P.S. It's just technical-sounding enough to make any guy want to have a go ("touch sensitive pad you say, oh... interesting" will be the words you'll likely hear) - and if there is one thing better than a damn good vibrator, it's a damn good vibrator in the hands of someone else, doing the work!

A single point lost due to minor 'cons' - otherwise outstanding!

Review: Evolved Novelties - True Love "Amore" Vibrator

Hi guys! I've been promising a review for a while now, and I still haven't delivered! This is a sort-of compromise... I have previously reviewed this product but I've been wanting to provide enhanced reviews on the blog for a little while so I guess this is my test run as it were! Kind thanks go out to LoveHoney, who were cool enough to ask me to test this!
True Love: AMORE vibrator by Evolved Novelties
The first thing that really hit me about this toy was the packaging; it is (in my opinion) the best packaged toy I've had the pleasure of owning!
It comes in a tin which clips shut with a window to show the vibrator, and doesn't scream "SEX TOY" like so many do - the packaging really is about as classy as you could imagine for any toy.
The company website (http://www.evolvednovelties.com) states that "the packaging serves as a secure, hygienic and discreet carrying case – including, a clever insert that actually conceals the toy!" which I agree with, it makes for an excellent case to store the toy in. (In case it's not something you've come across before, toys should be isolated with one another to prevent materials from reacting.)
There is just the one button and three speeds which can be cycled through - low, medium and high. I found the medium speed to be the most enjoyable for me and I normally like relatively strong vibrations. What's great about this is the simplicity of operation, which in the heat of the moment is pretty damn important, however it does lead to needing to cycle through to switch off.
I enjoyed the shape of the vibe as it is quite different to the straight up-and-down of the vast majority you can buy. The curves of the vibrator allow for extra stimulation without feeling "ridged" like some do. As usual, I did need a little clit stimulation to get there, but I wouldn't blame the toy for that as that is quite normal for me.
It doesn't look especially big on the girth size, but feels more than it looks, so lube might be a good idea for for newer users. This felt like more of an issue when I used the toy solo, which adds to my lube suggestion, it goes without saying that I'm more turned on when in the sack with him than alone, and I did also find that I found the toy more pleasurable when he used it on me. I'm not sure if that was simply due to being extra turned on, or if he got a better angle with it.
  • The packaging is just too gorgeous. It makes for an excellent storage box.
  • The feel is great, nice and solid but with a jelly outer.
  • It's also totally skin safe, and phthalates free!

  • It's not the quietest vibe I've used, but equally, it's not exactly rabbit-volume either.
  • Cycling through the options to get it to switch off could be an issue if you suddenly need to switch it off. It can also be an issue in the sense that if you click it too eagerly, you can quite easily cycle past the setting you want.
  • There are only 3 speeds, and no pulse modes.
I'm a big fan. Yes, it's comparitively simple compared to some of the more elaborate vibes out there at the moment, but I like that it's uncomplicated... Y'know, sometimes life doesn't need any more complications? It's a nice size too, and the packaging is stunning (Ok, I'll stop raving about that tin now!)
Want it? Buy it @ LoveHoney for £26.99 (price correct as of 07/08/09)

Hey folks! Just a quickie off me this evening, to let you know about what I recently got and will hopefully be reviewing on here soon...

I made a little LoveHoney order a while ago and got:

So hopefully some reviews very soon for those. I'm excited to try out the Dolphin as it seems really high quality for the price - silicone was once only for those willing to endure the hefty price tag! The LoveBunny was adorable, and I'm sort of curious about those ears, truth be told! As for the VibraExciter, I'm mostly looking forward to seeing my OH wind me up with it! I'm very tempted to go somewhere public and see how long we last before I drag him away somewhere to fuck his brains out... I also have a BIG box of goodies arriving tomorrow...

Over the next few days or so, I'll be hopefully getting at least 1 review out to you and also have a bit of a discussion blog I want to do as well... That's if all the above doesn't... er, get in the way, shall we say?

Too Many?

I know I have a lot of toys. That's obvious, and pretty much indisputable. Recently I've seen a couple of posts by fellow bloggers about the amount of toys they have and normally included a pic. So, earlier, I nipped to my bedroom and collected the lovelies on my bed. Appologies for the unstraightened sheet (and yes, it is grey... goes well with the black metal the bed is and the black duvet - what a goth, eh?!)...
NOT in that pic are my plain metal handcuffs, my fluffy black handcuffs and my spankties. Hmm, it is quite a bit. But as I disagree fundamentally with the concept of "too many" it cannot be so! It's both crazy and amazing that there are still other things I want, isn't it? The vibe near the centre, transparent blue with an egg vibe in it and a white battery compartment? That was my first ever. I think it may have to go bye-byes in the rabbit amnesty. Seeing as you can send more than one (i think - i'll have to check again!) i might also sling the white one next to it, tbh. It's not the best thing and it's seen better days. I should probably consider the same fate for the Sex Pistol (the purple and black spikey thing from ann summers a long time ago) as it doesnt and more than likely wont see use... In fact - I've been eyeing the Jessica Rabbit Platinum - and while the LH price of £29.99 is good, £14.99 post amnesty discount is mighty mighty tempting! *contemplates*

Thursday, 4 December 2008

I was thinking today about the whole issue of sex toy ownership. Not so much owning "a" sex toy, but multiple toys. The concept of "too many" and all that jazz. Personally I see it in the same way that a child may own a lot of dolls or teddies. I know that might sound a bit wrong, but hear me out! Okay, so I have quite a lot already. I have a pretty hefty order winging it's way to me for delivery (I hope) on Saturday, and yet I know that there will be a time... Not till the new year now, but still in the grand scheme of things, not too far off when I will see some more pretties and have to have them. I'm already budgetting sex toy purchases into student life when i go to uni next year (there's a reason I can live frugally, and yes, that reason really is toys and the like...) Back to the toy analogy. I have some of my older toys that I've had for ages, and still use. Some of my newer ones are amazing too. I'm hoping some that are on their way will blow my mind. There is no reason why anyone shouldn't own lots of the things they like and enjoy. I was suprised to hear about the state of play re. sextoys in Texas today. I honestly had no idea. Maybe that's because I'd never really thought about it, but to hear that there are places where you don't dare call a dildo a dildo, is crazy to me. If you own 6+ dildos, you are seen as promoting them or likely to be distributing them... In forbidden fruit (their not-so-sextoy-store in texas) they really do refer to dildos as "Educational models" and they do not sell vibrators, merely "massagers" (yes, that old chestnut!). They can sell realistic dildos, so long as they don't vibrate, and they can sell vibrators so long as they don't look too realistic. Butt plugs are a whole other matter though, you can shove whatever you like up there. (no penises, though!). It was through the LH forums that i first got to watching this video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TYXUUsDGxkU (dont ask me to embed, it's totally not behaving for me) Release forms, declarations, counting one's dildos... I'm glad I live in the UK for once, and before I ever emigrate anywhere, I'm checking it's laws on sex toy ownership and purchase!

I must, I must...

Blog more often. This is it, I promise I am turning over a new leaf and you WILL see more of me in these parts! Been a bit distracted what with one thing and another, but isn't everyone? I won't be using that as an excuse to neglect this any more... Though as no-one reads this, strictly speaking, I am talking to myself. Isn't that the first sign of madness? Today is all about sex toys. I am a member of LoveHoney's forums (Fora?) , and a regular buyer of toys from the afforementioned. I love them and hate them, sometimes in equal measure. I love them because it's near impossible not to, and I hate them for nothing more than the fact that they keep making me spend money I shouldn't. Really good example would be today. I went to a shopping centre today (a rather large one) which has an Ann Summers. Now, I will admit that I did go with the intention of sinning and cheating on my beloved LH. My trip did involve a notable detour to Ikea for meatballs followed by daim cake... Not very sexy or O/T but hey, it's real life donchaknow? Once I had finished my daim cake, I walked through the centre to A.S... Now, I don't mean to judge here, but I noticed three or four SAs stood together, faffing with stock and seemingly, chatting. The store looked fairly empty, though admittedly I couldn't see the back where what I call the "proper" stock is. Maybe, part of me is still the pathetic wimp I was when in high school (or younger even) but seeing as all three girls looked up at anyone pausing (maybe, oh, thinking about coming in and spending some money?!), it totally put me off. I think I was drawn to the idea of going to A.S. as I miss the tactile stuff, I like the whole looking at the displays thing, the "shopping" experience, which as much as I love LH, obviously, online isn't the same. The reality, though, put me off. I decided this meant I was DEFINATELY allowed a LH order when I got home, and order I did. Now, do consider that I currently have zero income (stupid, stupid gov't (or rather the outsourced company they emply) still haven't arranged my ALG) but I will grant that my savings from my old job seem to be more than tiding me over, and I felt i needed a treat. I think we'll be calling this my christmas present to myself though, it's a bit of a wopper at just under £70! I wasn't planning that much... But I saw that for £50+ you qualified for a free Diamond Dazzler vibrator which is itself worth twenty quid, and seems to get good ratings. Having brought my order up to the £50 mark, I saw that at £60+, you can choose your delivery date! Awesome, I thought, as I won't be in on friday so Saturday is far better. (Btw, what do I say to my parents? "Butt out, it's christmas soon!" is what I'm favouring if they ask whats in the box!) And lets not forget, the original incentive that pushed me to order was the free gift offer in the LH mag! Here's my order: Liquorice Dip Butt Plug Triple Pack Black Wanted this for a while and think I really need to invest in some graduated butt plugs to get the ol' anal sex life going with the bf... Smooth Realistic 6.5 Inch Waterproof Vibrator Purple I wanted a waterproof vibe. Nothing more, nothing less. Might spice up showertime? Bondage Tape Black HOW long have I wanted this??? Now, to get the bf to use it on me... (I'm a sub through and through, lucky I went and fell in love with a dom!) Tracey Cox Supersex Orgasm Arousal Gel This is something I don't think I ever would have ordered if not for the LH mag! Something a bit different, and haven't tried any 'sensation' inducing gels or lubes so i'm certainly up for this. Aquaglide Anal Lube I was going to order the sliquid one, but it's OOS. Might end up getting that one in the future, who knows... but for now, I think i need anal lube and fast, as i know the bf is missing anal action and tbf, so am I. Doc Johnson Blush UR3 Dildo Clear This just seemed a really good price for a real-feel dildo, and I've been after a dildo for a good while. I have quite a few vibes but not really any good dildos, and this one looks good. I have really high hopes for this. Diamond Dazzler Smooth Vibrator 6 Inch Ah, the one that made me buy more than I set out to! Looks good though, the reviews are positive and it's certainly pretty! A £20 vibrator for free? well, you can't knock that! BASIC Sex Toys Essential Starter Pack And this is the one that made me want to order this time in the first place! You get 4 items from the LH BASIC range, which I've fancied trying anyway.. the BASIC Sex Toys Vibrating Love Ring, the BASIC Sex Toys Vibrating Mega Ring, the BASIC Sex Toys Vibrating Finger Ring and the BASIC Sex Toys Vibrating Love Bullet. I've been fancying the idea of a cockring for the mr anyway, and if i bought one, it'd probably be the Omazing one, but if we get on with the ones in this freebie, then we can treat ourselves to that I think! Hehe. So, a pretty impressive haul considering. If i'd spent just under £70 in AS, I have a feeling I may have walked out with, oh, 2 vibes? lol..
