On the Topic of Nipples...

Something I've noticed come up a lot in the search terms people find NymphetamineKiss.com via is nipples. Review: Ophoria Bliss No. 8 Vibrator

First of all, the gorgeous folks over at Sex Toys Eden sent me this Ophoria vibe to review, so do go check them out!

 As you can see, Ophoria products are the very definition of 'class' within their sleek packaging; no half naked women, oiled men or cartoon characters here! The Bliss No. 8 is completely silicone, so phthalate free and non-irritating. Which is always good! In other spec-based info, it's also splash proof, takes 2 AA batteries, and is operated by a single button on it's base.

Like many vibes these days, it has a variety of vibration settings - described as modes 1, 2 & 3 (I'd call them low-med-high) plus 2 pulse modes, one referred to as "climax" (building up, then back to the start) and one "pulsing" (more of an on- off, on- off pulse). It's as quiet as it makes out, too. The lower settings are comparible to other vibes marketed as near-silent, and the higher ones are easily masked by a little noise, music or similar.

In use, what I really enjoyed about this vibe was the way that the vibrations carried right the way through the toy, to the tip. Unusually for a shaft-type vibrator, I found myself using it on my clit where I found the vibrations to be really intense on the higher settings. The ridges meant that rubbing the length of the shaft along myself, almost grinding against it, was a lot of fun.

However, I didn't find that I enjoyed the insertion of the Bliss all that much by comparison. Personally, the ridges made what is a fairly girthy toy, a little too challenging. The girth alone wasn't too much of an issue, but adding the density of the silicone, I found it just a little too rough for my liking.

That's not to say other's won't find those same ridges to be deliciously orgasmic - hell, we'reall built differently! Review: Petite Couture – Patina Vibrator

California Exotics are a hugely well known brand, with a history spanning over 15 years, and are truly known for creating up to date, popular toys that really deliver.

The Couture Collection is a recent development, still being extended. The high quality toys look easily comparable to those fetching a far more substantial price tag, and you get the joy of dealing with sumptuous feeling materials, variable vibration, and completely cringe-free packaging! Hurrah!

The Patina is a rabbit style vibrator, but in a creamy, pure shade of white as opposed to the standard-issue pink, which makes for a great change. The main body of the vibe is made out of silicone (the finest, medical grade silicone, from Japan, apparently), and has a silky smooth texture and a firmness that’s just right – not too soft but not too rigidly unforgiving either.

Once you’ve popped three AAA batteries in, you’re good to go. There’s an on/off switch (handy if you need to quickly turn it off!) and two extra buttons, one to cycle through the 7 vibration settings (including a variety of pulses and speeds) and one for the 3 speeds of the all-important rotation that made the rabbit vibe so well known! The controller-end of the vibe is in a classy silver tone; all adding to a really high-end feel to this vibe! The packaging is every bit as classy as the toy itself, as shown in the pictures, and this vibe is waterproof too!

All in all, a great gift so far – but how does it perform? My first thoughts on this were good – the shape of the toy is great… it doesn’t hit my g-spot as well as the iTap G-spot vibe did, but it still feels damn good. The silicone feels great in use, and the rabbit ears are long enough to reach everywhere they should!

The vibration on the lowest setting is hard to hear over a running computer, and while louder on the higher settings, still compares very favourably to other quiet vibrators on the market. The thing that normally makes rabbits louder than their counterparts, however, is the noise from the shaft rotation. In the case of the Patina, the rotation is louder than the vibration, but considerably less than many other rabbit vibes!
 I found that in use, the vibration levels are great for me, and carry brilliantly though the silicone. I seem to get on best with the rotation on its “medium” setting of the three speeds, as the lower setting seems hard to notice, and the highest seems to rotate my arm more than the toy… But that may have a lot to do with how I “grip” toys internally? I’m not sure. All things considered, I really like this toy, and feel it has such aesthetic appeal that it would make a great gift for someone special ;)

There are certainly more "all singing all dancing" rabbits around, but as a good, multispeed rabbit with what is simply a great tactile feel, you can't go far wrong with the Patina! I can't be certain about this toy, but it's purple older brother worked like a dream for me - with a good strong suction cup that's enabled it to travel around desks, laminate flooring, tiles... you get the picture! A Little Girl's Need for Submission.

Review: Rocks Off Ass Berries - Blackberry

First off, big thanks go to the gorgeous guys and girls at Adult Pleazurezone who sent me this for review!

The Rocks Off brand has been pretty well known for quite some time now, even more so after they launched the Rock Chick. All their toys use the legendary RO-80mm Bullet that they're so well known for, which on it's own is a fantastic bullet. As long-time readers of Nymphetamine Kiss will know, I'm quite a fan of anal play. So, when I got the chance to review the Rocks-Off Blackberry from the Assberries range, I jumped at it!

The Blackberry is the larger toy in the Assberries, but still doesn't look intimidating to the eye. It's essentially one of the afforementioned RO-80mm bullets in a butt plug shaped sleeve, made of Rocks-Off's own "IntraMed material" - and while I'm not entirely sure what goes into that, Rocks-Off do assure it's completely hypo-allergenic, and of course it's free of phthalates and is latex-free.

 Now, on to how it performs! I was impressed with how the vibrations carried through the toy, though I wasn't all that surprised given the quality of the bullet [which comes with batteries, by the way!] and the material used for the sleeve. There is a faint seam running across the toy, but it really isn't noticable and it doesn't look like it's going to cause any problems later, so I'm fine with that. The bullet is only one speed, but the vibrations it produces are a lot of fun, so I didn't find myself wishing for more variability.

The texture is unusual, but hasn't presented any problems for cleaning. Size wise, it does present something of a challenge for me - it's deceptively small to the eye... but bigger to the ass! The great thing about this is that it'd present a challenge for comparitive anal newbies, but should still hold some satisfaction for the more practiced anal enthusiast.

I was really impressed by the gradient at the neck of the plug too, as this meant there really was no issue of it slipping out - an issue I've experienced previously. Used together with a high-quality anal lube, this makes for great fun. I'd advise not using silicone lube as I suspect the sleeve may be silicone, as I have seen it referred to as such before.

 All in all, I was impressed by this and it'll certainly be incorporated into mine and my partners play in the future!
